Nurtured Soul Retreat Belize includes:
- Island chic, comfortable accommodation at Ak'bol. Retreat package based on single occupancy rooms in the yoga barracks. 7 cabanas also available either single or double occupancy — see pricing for explanation of options.
- Delicious, healthy food at each meal, including many traditional local favorites and vegetarian options. Menu designed around our activities to keep us nourished and balanced throughout the week. Includes special Caribbean welcome meal and a celebration meal at the end of the week.
- Daily yoga and meditation in one of the two wonderful yoga palapas — either over the sea or off the beach surrounded by coconut & sea grape trees. Relax, strengthen, center, and empower yourself.
- One spa treatment scheduled at your leisure during the week.
- Journal and other materials for use during the retreat.
- Several nights of evening entertainment including Garifuna drumming and sunset sacred circle.
- Full day trip to the mainland to explore the ancient Mayan ruin Lamanai, including light jungle hiking.
- Sunset sailing cruise with local treasure, Captain George.
- Snorkeling afternoon along the wonderful Belize barrier reef.
NOTE to the serious adventurer... There is so much to do and see in Belize! It's an abundant country of natural beauty, cheerful people and cultural diversity. If you want to enjoy additional activities such as scuba diving, jungle hiking or other mainland activities, we suggest you arrive a couple days early or stay a few days after the conclusion of the retreat. Other than our day trip to Lamanai, our time will be focused at Ak'Bol to allow ample time and space for you to truly Unwind, Nourish and Grow in an environment that can't help but spark your inward journey.
Pricing
The cost of the retreat with all the inclusion above is $1,995.

Yoga Barracks — Standard pricing includes single accommodation in a yoga barracks room.
The Yoga Barracks is a new, Maya inspired structure on the lagoon side of the Ak'Bol property. The rooms are done in the same island chic found throughout the resort, with plenty of attention to detail. Each room has one large bed or two single beds, sitting area, large window to the lagoon and front patio. The barracks have shared bath and showers that are designed to maximize privacy and comfort. (Believe me — the private showers have the best water pressure on the island — shhhh, don't tell anyone else! It feels much more luxury spa than communal showers.) There are individual lockers in the bathroom so you can keep your necessities there just like you do at home.
Cabanas
For double occupancy cabana, add $150 for garden view / $225 for sea view
For single occupancy cabana, add $575 for garden view / $750 for sea view
The Ak'Bol village consists of 7 "island chic" private cabanas with traditional woven thatched ceilings. Each cabana includes a queen bed as well as a loft. Cabanas are filled with detailed Maya inspired features and each has a private open-air shower. Many windows and a nice deck on each cabana create the perfect space for those moments when you just want to reflect in your own room.
Deposits & Policies
A non-refundable $500 deposit will hold your space. Full payment is due by September 1, 2009. Once we receive you payment, we will send you a welcome pack to help you get in the spirit of Unwinding, Nourishing and Growing for your upcoming serene trip to Belize.
Online payment is available. You may also pay by check. Once the online registration form is submitted you will be taken to the Payment Options page. Your space is not assured until we receive your payment. When we receive your payment, we will email you a confirmation along with your invoice.
Cancellation policy for Nurtured Soul Retreat Belize:
- If you must cancel, the $500 deposit is not refundable
- Full refund, less deposit, will be given with at least 60 days notice
- Within 60 days of your retreat, 50% of the total (less deposit) will be refunded to you
- Within 30 days of your retreat, sorry but absolutely no refund will be given
Please note: We are sorry, however injury and illness do not disqualify you from any of the above cancellation policies. In case of cancellation due to a natural disaster, such as a hurricane, all payments will be applied to a future retreat/stay at Ak'Bol, to be scheduled within one year of cancelled retreat. There are no refunds for natural disasters. Credit only.
We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to Nurtured Soul Retreat will be refunded. Nurtured Soul cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses incurred, such as airline tickets, due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
Trip Insurance — We highly recommend Trip Insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat.
